You can study with us even if you are not enrolled:
- UWA Extension: short courses on a range of topics.
- UWA ACCESS: study units on offer to our students – either as an audit student (not assessed) or as a continuing education student (assessed).
Our undergraduate and postgraduate courses encompass classics and ancient history, English and cultural studies, European languages and studies, gender studies, history and philosophy.
Undergraduate
A Bachelor of Arts gives you the opportunity to study a number of different majors.
Broadening units on offer within the School of Humanities
Honours
Honours usually involves a fourth year of study, developing analytical and research skills through course work and a dissertation that explores a particular area of interest.
Students from other universities can also apply for honours at UWA.
Postgraduate
Coursework
Postgraduate coursework usually involve attending classes and may include writing a thesis. Examples include graduate certificate and graduate diploma courses.
Research
Research degrees focus on research and writing a thesis. Examples include PhDs and master's by research.
